A long table set for a function under festoon lights

Other events · SEQ and Northern NSW

Music for corporate and private events.

A hand-picked musician, a sound tech of their own and a mic for the welcome speech. Your guests get a room that feels looked after; your team gets one less thing on the run sheet.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Tell us the event

The date, the area, three hours or four, and whether the room wants something laid-back or a bit of energy. No account needed.

  2. Step 2: Meet your two

We show you two musicians who are free on the day and suit the room. Listen, compare, and pick the one your guests will talk about.

  3. Step 3: Lock in the date

A retainer secures your musician, your sound tech and the gear. Sign online and it's in the calendar.

Pricing

Three hours or four, plainly priced.

One for drinks and a few speeches, one for the long lunch that becomes a long afternoon. Either way, your own sound tech and all the gear come with it.

How paying works

Planning a wedding instead? That’s over here.

Included, always

The sound, taken care of.

Every Bluebird Sessions booking comes with a dedicated sound technician and a tidy setup that looks like it belongs in the room. Your MC gets a working mic first time, and your team gets nothing extra to organise.
  • A mic for the speeches

A wireless handheld for the welcome, a toast and a few short speeches, set up and tested before anyone taps a glass.

  • Looks right in the room

A clean, compact setup that suits a function room, a rooftop or a long table in the vines. No cable spaghetti, no road cases on show.

  • Pitched for conversation

Your tech keeps the level where your guests can still talk business, then lifts it when the room is ready.

  • Quiet power, if you need it

Rooftop, courtyard or a paddock with a marquee: if there's no power where you want the music, we bring our own, and it's quiet.

One question, the right pace

Laid-back, or a bit of energy?

When you tell us about the event, we ask how you want the room to feel. It's the question that matters most for a function, and it shapes which two musicians you meet.
  • A cream sun umbrella against a blue sky and sea

    Laid-back

Easy, warm sets your guests can talk over. Right for long lunches, client drinks and anything with name tags.

  • Hands up on a sparkling dance floor

    Energy

Upbeat sets that lift the room. Right for launches, awards nights and the end-of-year party that deserves one.

Good for

Any room that deserves better than a playlist.

  • Long lunches
  • Product launches
  • End-of-year parties
  • Awards nights
  • Milestone birthdays
  • Gallery openings

Questions

The practical bits.

Can you invoice the business?
Tell us what your accounts team needs and we’ll see what we can do. Get in touch before you book and we’ll talk it through.
How far ahead do we need to book?
At least two weeks, so we can line up your musician, your sound tech and the gear properly. Popular Fridays in November and December go early, so sooner is kinder to your stress levels.
What's included?
The Event Session is three hours of live music, paced from background to feature sets; The Long Session adds a fourth hour. Both come with a dedicated sound technician, all the gear, a wireless handheld for the welcome and a few short speeches, and a curated playlist during breaks. See the details.
What isn't included?
DJ and dance-floor sets after the live music. If the night is going to keep going, we’ll happily recommend our favourite DJs and bands to take it from there.
