Marco Motta

Voice and guitar · pop, rock and folk

Marco is a Brisbane-based singer and guitarist who reads a room as well as he plays it. From the first guests arriving to the last ones refusing to leave the dance floor, he shapes the set to the moment: stripped-back, heartfelt ballads for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then a high-energy run of sing-along favourites once the sun goes down. His repertoire spans decades of country, folk, rock and pop, and he’s happy to learn your first-dance song or that one track your dad insists on. A seasoned live performer around South-East Queensland’s pubs and venues, Marco is also a released songwriter, which shows in the way he makes well-worn covers feel like his own.
